Not sure if it was the intent - but if the father's slip up was an acceptance of her as his daughter, the use of "still" sounds almost like claiming the old life. ((She's said since the start that she feels like a combination of two people, but that's really the first i see of taking something more than the physical from the life of the girl who's body she got.))

Indeed. Mostly she's surprised that the clothes still fit her combined-and-several-years-older body. Raine was telling her that the clothes were hers, after all.
